Riley-Drucks wed on yacht

   Laura Kay Riley and Karl Werner Drucks were united in marriage on June 10, in a ceremony held aboard the Crystal Dolphin Yacht on the Willamette River in Portland, officiated by Pastor Tom Foster. A dinner and dance reception followed on the Crystal Dolphin.
   The bride is the daughter of Pat and Phillip Riley of Hillsboro, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Drucks of Eugene.
   The bride wore an exquisite white wedding gown, accented with beautiful embroidery and an elegant sweep train. A veil with a pearl tiara completed her ensemble. She carried a bridal bouquet of pink roses.
   The maid of honor was Katie Justice, friend of the bride, and the best man was Jason Corneille, friend of the groom.
   The ushers were Michael and Karen Riley, brother and sister of the bride, and Kayla Morgan, friend of the bride, read the scripture. Leila Burkert and Katie Burtis, lifelong friends of the bride, were in charge of the guest book.
   The bride is a graduate of Madras High School, received a bachelor of science in educational studies at the University of Oregon, and is currently a graduate student at Portland State University, working toward a master's degree in education.
   The groom is a graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory School in San Jose, Calif. He received his bachelor of business from the University of Oregon, and is currently the business office manager of Regency Park Assisted Living.
   Following a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple returned to Portland, where they currently reside.
