Cowdeo bucks this weekend

It's Cowdeo time! The leaves are turning, the air is crisp and kids all over Jefferson County are practicing for the biggest kids' rodeo in Central Oregon.
This is the 38th annual Cowdeo and it's looking to be bigger and better than ever. The 4-H horse club kids are out there selling tickets to the show. The tickets are also a chance to win some prizes and you don't have to be present to win. So support those kids and get your ticket today.
In September we honored our fair volunteers with dinner and an awards banquet. Columbia River Bank received the Western Fairs Blue Ribbon award for their outstanding support of the Jefferson County Fair Complex. Way to go Columbia River Bank!
We are also losing two very fine board members this year, Estella Peterson and Pam Watson. They will be sorely missed by us all and I just want to say thanks for a job well done gals. Anyone interested in taking a position on the fair board, please feel free to give me a call.
Check out what's going on at the fairgrounds, you might be surprised.
See you all at the 38th annual Cowdeo, Oct. 21 and 22.
