Kick Butts Day event at park today

The Jefferson County Tobacco Prevention Program and the JCMS Youth Development Team invite the public to a "Kick Butts Day" event at Friendship Park in Madras on Wednesday, March 28, at 2 p.m.
At the event, the youths will unveil a temporary memorial wall remembering those who have suffered tobacco-related illness or death.
The students have designed the event and several students will speak about how this community is impacted by tobacco use. Mark Evans from BestCare Treatment Services will also deliver a message about tobacco prevention.
Kick Butts Day is a youth advocacy event affiliated with the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids.
