Egg hunts, church services set for Easter

The following churches and groups have announced Easter services and activities:
   Elks Easter Egg Hunt: The Madras Elks Lodge will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m., Easter Sunday, April 9, on the lawns at Madras Elementary.
   The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd/St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 395 S.E. C St., Madras, will hold a Maundy Thursday, April 5, communion service at 7 p.m.; Good Friday, April 6, the church will be open from noon to 3 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m., including stations of the cross.
   Easter Sunday, April 8, worship service will be at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
   Ashwood Community Church will hold an Easter Service on April 8, at 9 a.m., at the Ashwood Grange Hall. Potluck breakfast and an Easter egg hunt will follow.
   United Methodist Church at 49 N.E. 12th St., invites children in grade five or younger to a free Easter egg hunt, at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 7. There will be crafts, the Easter story, snacks and an outdoor egg hunt.
   April 6, the church will hold a Good Friday service at 7 p.m.; and on Easter Sunday, April 8, the worship service will be at 10 a.m.
