   Jeanine Sibert
   Former Madras resident Jeanine Joy (Thurman) Sibert died March 26, in Redmond at the age of 64.
   Mrs. Thurman was born March 1, 1943, in Eugene to parents Quentin and Leatha Thurman. She graduated from Crow High School near Eugene in 1961. In July 1961, she married Gary Fowler. She later married Ken Sibert.
   She came to Madras in 1977 and worked 15 years as a cook at The Stag Restaurant until she became disabled. In 2004, she moved to Redmond to be near her daughter.
   Her special interests included reading, raising flowers, cooking, fishing, bird watching and spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Her treasures were her children and grandchildren.
   Survivors include her sons, Stanley Fowler of St. Helens, Stewart Fowler of Sutherlin, Joseph Fowler of Madras and Brian Fowler of Portland; daughter, Melody Joy Wilson of Redmond; sister, Mary Fox of Marcola, Ore.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
   A memorial service was held March 31, at the Madras Free Methodist Church. Memorial contributions have been suggested to Central Oregon Hospice or the Sparrow Clubs of Central Oregon. Deschutes Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

   Esther Stevenson
   Madras resident Esther Stevenson died March 31, 2007, at the age of 85. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., April 4, at the United Methodist Church in Madras. A full obituary will appear in next week's Pioneer.

   Stella Wilson
   Madras resident Stella Mae Wilson died March 16, 2007, at Mountain View Hospital at the age of 82.
   Mrs. Wilson was born Jan. 10, 1925, in Norman, Okla., to parents Harvey and Lucy Jane (Brown) Wilson. She married Jimmy Richard Davis. He preceded her in death and she took her maiden name back.
   She had lived in Madras for many years and in the summer time had worked in the fields and in the winter at the Metolius potato shed. She loved being with her family.
   Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Pack of Madras, Betty Dosier of Redmond, Judy Smith of Portland; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie Lee and Donna Owens of Port Orford, Ore.; grandchildren, James (and Virginia) Owens, David (Tina) Owens, John (Kim) Owens, Dena (Sean) Wells, Rick Smith, Anthony Smith, James Smith, Angela Reynoso, Leanna Pierce, Belinda Bettencourt, Franklin Dosier, Christy Davidson, Julie Jussop, Janie Davis and Jenny O'Neal Haley; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Jacob, Andrew, Antonio, Tatiana, Tyrell, Natale, Aneta, Jennifer, Jackie, Breanna, Jennifer, Billy, Jeremy, Amanda, Amy, Sturman, and Stephanie; great-great-grandchildren, Justine, Skyla, and Lauren; and step-great-grandchildren, Kayla and Tyler.
   A family gathering was held March 18, at Bel-Air Colonial Chapel. Burial was a Lakewood Memorial Park in Modesto, Calif. Arrangements were under the direction of Bel-Air Colonial Funeral Home in Madras.
