Solar and windpower displays were a favorite attraction at the Jefferson County Home and Garden Show last weekend at the fairgrounds, according to organizer Ron Erickson.
A downpour of rain on Saturday did discourage some people through.
"The rain cut attendance down some. But we had a pretty good show and a lot of vendors," Erickson said. "The solar and windpowered generator got more interest than any other booth," he added.
The drawing for a Smith and Wesson Smoking Barbecue was won by Ice Redfield, the wife of Roadrunner Construction owner Larry Redfield.
