Season low scores for MHS boys' golf

Madras boys' golf is playing a match within a match during the Intermountain Conference matches.
   The White Buffalos are battling Crook County at each event. Madras tied the Cowboys for fifth in Friday's match and finished eight strokes behind Monday at The Dalles Country Club despite a season low score of 347.
   The IMC season continues with a Friday match at Broken Top in Bend and a Tuesday, May 1 gathering at Meadow Lakes.
   IMC at The Dalles: Cam Rosenfield lowered his lifetime-best score by 14 stokes, shooting an 85. The senior golf rookie had a 41 on the back nine.
   Josiah Thompson led Madras with a 78 with a 38 on each nine. Nathan Gerhardt and Chance Squiemphen both shot a 92 with Caleb Pugh recording a 99.
   Bend again won the event with a combined 307.
   IMC at Bend: The Buffs tied for fifth place with Crook County in Friday's match at the Bend Country Club. Both teams combined for a 355 to finish ahead of both The Dalles and Mountain View.
   Gerhardt led the way with with an 80. Thompson shot an 84, Squiemphen a 90 with Caleb Pugh at 101 and Kasey Johnson a 125.
