The Centennial School District Board is inviting registered voters who have lived within the district boundaries for at least one year to apply for two board vacancies.
Earlier this month, the board accepted the resignations of Roger Ernstrom, position 1, zone 1, as well as Kelly Morency, position 7, at-large. In her letter of resignation, Morency wrote that she plans to apply for Ernstrom's position.
Anyone interested in applying for either position cannot be a district employee.
To fill Ernstrom's former position, you would need to reside within Zone 1, which encompasses the Oliver/Parklane attendance area and a small section of the Lynch View and Lynch Wood attendance areas.
Anyone wishing to apply to fill Morency's former position may reside anywhere within the district.
Applications for the positions are due in the district office, 18135 S.E. Brooklyn St., by 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.
The board will interview candidates Wednesday, Nov. 9.
New board members will be sworn in Wednesday, Dec. 14.
