Individual designing is the specialty of Madras Signs and Trophies, which was recently opened in south Madras by Darby Campbell.
A 36-year resident of Central Oregon, Campbell created Impact Signs in Redmond, which she sold in 1999, then moved to Madras in 2003.
"I have 15 years of experience in sign making. I don't just make signs, I design them and there is a big difference," Campbell noted, saying her motto is "Our Signs Create Business."
Located at 1825 S.W. Highway 97, next to Miller Ford, Madras Signs and Trophies has a showroom where customers can see samples of her work and view the store's selection of trophies and plaques.
The shop also rents out flags and banners, does vehicle lettering, and offers magnetic signs and all types of residential and commercial signage.
"We also cater to real estate companies, by installing, removing and storing their signs," Campbell said.
The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the business phone is 475-3788, fax is 475-3868.
