A donation check of $3,400, raised through Miller Ford's Cruise 4 UR School event, was presented to Madras High School last Wednesday.
The cruise, held Dec. 6 at the high school, drew 170 people even through it was a cold, rainy, windy day, according to Dick Anderson, Miller Ford general manager.
For every person age 18 or older who test drove a Ford vehicle, the Miller Ford dealership in Madras donated $20 to the high school.
MHS principal Gary Carlton said the funds would be used for special student activities, such as assemblies or field trips, to be determined by a committee.
