Donations help outfit Fair Court

by: Submitted Photo - Jefferson Cosunty Rodeo Court princess Kaylee Patterson, left, and queen Jessica Ramey.

Since being appointed to the Jefferson County Fair Court, Jessica Ramey and Kaylee Patterson have been busy accumulating outfits for the various events they will be attending in the spring and summer.
The girls traveled to Columbia County in January to attend that county's coronation. While there, they met several people and made a few new friends.
They told everyone the dates for the Jefferson County Fair and invited them to attend. In February, the girls will attend the Mollala Buckeroo court coronation.
Ramey and Patterson would like to thank all those who made donations to get a Jefferson County Fair Court program going again.
Sponsors include: Hooker Creek, Gary Grunner Chevrolet, Beetle Bailey Burgers, Allen Group LLC/Rick Allen, Miller Ford Nissan, T&S Livestock/Tom and Suzie Green, Madras Paint and Glass, Madras Sanitary, Madras Vision Source, Donna Jansen, Ron and Sue Ellen Vincent, Hunter Excavation, Patterson Engraving, Candy Brock, Bob Doolittle, and the Jefferson County Fair Board.
Oregon Embroidery provided court sashes, Garden Gate Flowers provided pageant flowers, and the Inn at Cross Keys Station provided rooms for the pageant judges.
