Metolius man arrested in drug raid

A large quantity of methamphetamine was seized in a Metolius drug raid last Wednesday by the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team.
On Jan. 23, detectives from the CODE team, assisted by Jefferson County deputies and the Oregon State Police, executed a search warrant at the Metolius home of Gustavo Reynoso, 44.
The search concluded a four-month-long investigation into the illegal trafficking of controlled substances by Reynoso.
Among the items seized as evidence from Reynoso's residence were approximately 73 grams of methamphetamine (with a potential street value of over $70,000), packaging material, suspected records of drug transactions, and $1,662 in U.S. currency.
Reynoso was arrested at his place of employment and half-an-ounce of meth was found in his possession at the time.
Reynoso was charged with unlawful possession, delivery and manufacture of methamphetamine, and frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, kept or sold.
He was lodged in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
