> The Central Oregon Farm Fair and Trade Show, which runs Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 6 and 7, at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, is an opportunity for growers to get updated on issues affecting agriculture, and hear the latest research reports.
It's also a social gathering for farmers and ranchers during the off-season.
A special section in today's Pioneer features a schedule with the full slate of topics and research reports that will be covered during next week's two-day event.
Whether it's predictions of water availability for the coming irrigation season, growing for biofuels, or the impact of wheat and corn acreage on our area's specialty crops, the Farm Fair is the place to get the latest information.
Lunch is provided each day for those attending the fair. Presentations get started at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, and 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 7.
