To the Editor,
I am a concerned Jefferson County taxpayer who believes that East Cascade Assisted Living should deserve a tax break.
My wife is in the memory care unit and she receives excellent care. I also know other people in assisted living. They get reliable, loving, caring aides and employees, but they don't stay because wages are low, and there are no medical or dental benefits.
Commissioners, let's help the super people who are taking care of the great citizens that built our wonderful county.
Someday, all of our commissioners will look back and say, my god it was great that we gave East Cascade a tax break, because I now have a family member here receiving wonderful care.
