Want to try out a video game or game system before purchasing one? Try We Be Games in Madras, which Jason and Rose Hagen opened on March 3.
Both are Madras High School graduates, and Jason currently works as a personal banker at the local Wells Fargo Bank, while his wife Rose works at Erickson's Thriftway.
"I have been a longtime gamer and electronic enthusiast," Jason said, explaining why they opened the shop.
The store offers retail sales and rentals of console and handheld gaming systems, including Xbox 360, Play Station 3, and Wii.
"Customers can rent games, or come in and pay by the hour and play in the store on our systems," Jason said, noting, "They might want to try a game or system before purchasing it."
Another option is a monthly membership, which allows the member to check out games all month long from the store's wide selection. The store also accepts trade-ins of old games.
We Be Games will be holding a grand opening April 4 and 5. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week, at 216 S.E. Fifth St., Madras (across from New York Subs), and the business phone is 475-9323.
