Culver schools shift administrators


   Culver School District Board of Directors voted March 25, to reorganize administrators as a way to save money for the 2008-09 school year, according to a press release.
   The board recommended that the reorganizaion begin immediately so that plans could be made for next year.
   On March 31, Alice Smith took over as the new sixth through 12th grade principal. The district will open a new administrative position of assistant principal beginning in the 2008-09 school year, which includes the sixth through 12th grade athletic director's duties. The position was advertised April 1.
   Bill Perkins announced his retirement as high school principal two weeks ago and will be taking on district projects and athletic director's duties for the remainder of the year.
