Prineville resident Russell B. Clark died March 30, 2008, at the age of 88.
Mr. Clark was born May 19, 1919, in Wilder, Idaho, to parents Robert J. and Frances Pearl Clark. He was a graduate of Kittitas Union High School in Kittitas, Wash.
On June 10, 1962, he married Joane (Drish) Coates in Reno, Nev. He farmed for many years in the Culver area, then worked for Dick Mann Construction as a carpenter in Redmond.
His interests included owning and training thoroughbred race horses.
He is survived by his stepson, Dick Coates of Fallon, Nev.; and one grandchild, Debra of Sparks, Nev. He was preceded in death by his wife Joane, and brothers Ted Clark of Culver, and Don Clark of Madras.
At his request, no services were held. Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Humane Society of the Ochocos, 1280 Tom McCall Road, Prineville, OR 97754, or to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Deschutes Memorial Chapel.
