A 37-year-old Dallas, Ore., man was arrested by Lake Oswego police Wednesday on multiple charges, including third-degree rape.

Eric Sorenson was charged after officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 14000 block of Boones Ferry Road in Lake Oswego.

Police contacted Sorenson and a juvenile girl inside the vehicle. Investigation resulted in Sorenson being arrested at the scene on charges of third-degree rape, third-degree sexual abuse, contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor and sexual misconduct.

Sorenson, who was born in Downey, Calif., was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail in lieu of $37,500 bail. Police said further details won't be released pending further investigation.
