SUNDAY, OCT. 23

Sugar Skulls - 1 to 3 p.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Learn about the Day of the Dead and create an edible sugar skull that honors an ancestor or loved one.

Learning Lab: Guide to English Language Learning Resources - 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Gresham Library. Learn about library resources and services, and practice skills with English-language-learning websites. Basic computer skills are required. Labs are offered in English, or participants may bring a translator.

MONDAY, OCT. 24

Tiny Tots - 10 to 10:45 a.m., Gresham Library. Storytime for children ages 12-24 months, with an adult.

Toddler Storytime - 10:15 to 10:45 a.m., Troutdale Library. Storytime for children ages 24-36 months, with an adult.

Toddler Storytime - 11 a.m. to noon, Gresham Library. Storytime for children ages 24-36 months, with an adult.

Preschool Storytime - 11:15 to 11:45 a.m., Troutdale Library. Storytime for children ages 3-6, with an adult.

How to Relieve Stress - 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Troutdale Library. Learn how to practice meditation when you need it the most, during a walk, a bus ride, a wait at the doctor's office or in a business meeting.

Computer Lab for Job Seekers - 4 to 6 p.m., Gresham Library. Update your résumé, file for unemployment or apply for a dream job in this computer lab for job seekers. Limited technical support is provided.

TUESDAY, OCT. 25

Book Babies - 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., Gresham Library. Storytime for children up to 12 months, with an adult.

Preschool Storytime - 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., Gresham Library. Storytime for children ages 3-6, with an adult.

Computer Lab - 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Lab assistants are available to help beginners practice their computer skills. Spanish-language assistance available.

Computer Lab - 4 to 7 p.m., Gresham Library. Lab assistants are available to help beginners practice their computer skills.

Teen Lounge and Homework Center - 4 to 6:30 p.m., Rockwood Library. Use library computers, get homework help or just do homework and listen to music. For teens in grades sixth through 12th.

Intercambio/Language Exchange - 6 to 7:30 p.m., Gresham Library. Practice speaking English or Spanish in a friendly atmosphere. Beginners are welcome.

TechnoHosts - 6 to 8 p.m., Rockwood Library. Get free one-on-one help with basic computer issues.

Teen Tuesdays - 6 to 7 p.m., Rockwood Library. Add friends to your real-life social network. Stay at the library after Teen Lounge and chill, craft or just connect.

Pageturners Book Group - 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Read 'Into the Wild' by Jon Krakauer.

Pajama Time - 6:30 to 7 p.m., Troutdale Library. Put on your pajamas, grab a bedtime buddy and enjoy stories, songs and fun. For children age 6 and younger, with an adult.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 26

Teen Lounge and Homework Center - 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. For teens in grades sixth through 12th to use the Internet, do word processing or just do their homework.

Intercambio/Language Exchange - 6 to 7:30 p.m., Rockwood Library. Practice speaking English or Spanish in a friendly atmosphere. Beginners are welcome.

TechnoHosts - 6 to 8 p.m., Rockwood Library. Free one-on-one computer help for the whole family.

The Haunts of Portland - 6:30 to 7:15 p.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Professional storyteller Alton Chung will take participants on a trip through the ghostly side of Portland. Not suitable for children.
