No one hurt in early Sunday morning incident
The Portland police Gang Violence Reduction Team is investigating an early Sunday morning shooting in Southeast Portland
No one as hurt in the incident and no suspect information was immediately available.
According to police, at around 2:33 a.m. on Oct. 23, East Precinct officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Southeast 92nd and Foster. When they arrived, the officers found 20 shell casings in the street. Witnesses said the apparent target was a red Dodge Charger with chrome rims at a service station across the street from the New Cooper Penny restaurant.
The suspects were described by witnesses as two African-American males who were last seen running from the shooting.
The car was located a few minutes later parked at the IHOP restaurant at Southeast Raymond Street and 82nd Avenue. It had been struck by two bullets.
The car's occupants were detained until police determined they were the victims.
