Police have arrested a parolee for a Saturday afternoon sexual assault in Northeast Portland.

Mark Anthony Greyes, 29, was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of first-degree rape and a parole violation. He is being held on $250,000 bail.

According to police, at 2:46 p.m. Oct. 22, Central Precinct officers responded to a report of a sexual assault on Northeast Flanders Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues. Officers searched the area for the suspect, who was last seen running north on Eighth Avenue.
