Body pulled from Willamette near port terminal

UPDATE • Richard Ludt jumped Oct. 10 from Fremont Bridge

A man's body was pulled from the Willamette River Sunday morning near the Port of Portland's Terminal One.

On Monday, the sheriff's office said the man was identified as 46-year-old Richard Ludt, the man who jumped Oct. 10 from the Fremont Bridge.

Multnomah County sheriff's river patrol deputies recovered the body at about 9:30 a.m. Portland firefighters training on the fire boat Campbell saw the body in the river and called the sheriff's office.
