New driving citations put UO cornerback Harris back on suspension
EUGENE - Oregon Ducks cornerback Cliff Harris got back behind the wheel on Monday, and by Monday night he was back on suspension from the football program.
Police cited Harris for driving with a suspended license, driving while uninsured and failing to wear a seat belt near campus.
Oregon coach Chip Kelly then suspended Harris, according to a press release from the university's sports information department, "pending a further review" of the traffic stop.
Harris, a junior from Fresno, Calif., who also returns punts, missed the Ducks' 2011 opener - the team's only loss - against LSU while on suspension for his involvement in an offseason traffic incident.
