Ellsbury leading AL with 19 stolen bases
   Jacoby Ellsbury is getting on base and flying around the base paths.
   The Madras High School graduate is leading the American League with 19 stolen bases entering Tuesday's action.
   The left-hander is hitting .297, has belted six home runs and tallied 27 RBIs.
   From May 1 to Monday night, Ellsbury was hitting .325 with a .394 on-base percentage. The Sox were 19-8 in that stretch.
   Ellsbury's production could land him on the All-Star team. He ranks in the top 10 at his position in hits, runs, average, steals and OPS.
   Last week, Ellsbury belted home runs in consecutive games and has a six-game hit streak.
   Junior Golf signups now available for youths
   The Jefferson County Junior Golf program hosted by Desert Peaks Golf Club and Willow Creek Driving Range has opened registration.
   The cost of the program is $25 per participant and is open to 8-year-olds through high school youths.
   The program is designed to teach golf fundamentals and hold clinics twice weekly starting midway through June to midway through July.
   Registration forms are available at the Madras Pioneer and Desert Peaks Golf Course.

   Free youth fly fishing day June 4 in Bend
   A free fly fishing day will be held June 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bend's Pine Nursery Park and Pond.
   Youths will learn how to cast a fly rod, tie an artificial fly, tie four basic knots and much more.
   The clinic is available for youths aged 11-17 years.

   JCYSA to host summer tourney July 23-24
   The Jefferson County Youth Soccer Association will host the Madras Classic Soccer Cup Tournament July 23-24.
   The tournament is for 9-11-year-olds and JCYSA is looking for teams.
