Beaverton Farmers Market reopens for pre-Thanksgiving trimmings
Event also raises donations for Tualatin Valley Gleaners
The Beaverton Farmer's Market has ended its regular season, but will reopen for one day to help put locally produced food on the table for Thanksgiving.
A special Harvest Market is slated for Saturday, Nov. 19. There will be fresh produce, meat, seafood, dairy products, and packaged food from cottage industries, as well as holiday gifts and stocking stuffers.
The market also hopes to raise enough donations to feed 2,000 people in need this holiday season, with collection barrels set out for Tualatin Valley Gleaners.
