Since Feb. 14, Platt Electrical Supply has offered area customers over 4,200 electrical products from its Madras warehouse.
The family-owned chain was founded in 1953, providing electrical supplies via delivery and through its 105 store locations.
"We pride our self on customer service," said Platt Electrical Supply of Madras store manager George Arazoza. "Things are going really good as we get the word out as to what we can offer."
Platt Electrical Supply of Madras is located at 1600 N.W. Wescott near Bright Wood and is open 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
"If we don't have the unit you need in our local warehouse, we can have it here the next day," Arazoza said.
The local store has just about everything customers need for electrical solutions, and also offers tools and solar products as well.
"We have a wide variety of products and we deliver," Arazoza said.
If the Madras store does not carry a product that a customer may need, Arazoza turns to its regional warehouse in Beaverton that offers 50,000 items.
Platt Electrical Supply carries items such as wiring devices, fuses, lighting controls, fasteners, conduit, ducts, heat, fans, lamps, ballasts and much more.
Arazoza is one of three employed at the local store and phone lines are open 16 hours a day, although Arazoza said he posts his number on the door, so anyone can all him anytime if they need a product.
"We want to provide customers with whatever they need, anytime they need it," Arazoza said. "We have a highly trained staff and we want to provide solutions for our customers."

"We don't do repairs, but we are specifically a supply store," Arazoza said.
The Madras store offers products by the unit or in bulk.
"We have a truck that comes every day from Beaverton, so we can get anything customers need," Arazoza said. "We mainly serve contractors, but we welcome individuals to shop our warehouse as well."
