Madras High School cross country team competed at the Seaside 3-Course Challenge last week and will host an invitational at 10 a.m. Saturday.
   Isaac Fisher led Madras on the 5,000-meter hard course with a time of 23 minutes, 37 seconds for 117th place. J'Von Smith was 203rd, Chirs Lay placed 250th and Jonathan Marcotte was 326th.
   On the moderate course, Joshua Pilette was 265th in 26:04 for the White Buffalos. Raymond Hill was 372nd.
   On the 4,500-meter easy course, Sunny Runsabove finished 47th in 17:39. Bryce Vincent was 150th in 20:13, Ian Oppenlander was 151st in 20:18 and Bryson Miller placed 236th in 23:43.
   April Forman placed 203 on the girls' easy course in 28:56, and Stephanie Quinn was 113th on the girls' moderate course in 29:03.
   Just under 80 high schools from Oregon, Washington and California competed in the event.
