COCC classes on wills, photography, Social Security

The following classes are being offered at the Madras Central Oregon Community College center:
   "Estate, Long Term Care Planning." Trusts, wills and powers of attorney? Is that stuff really important? Learn ways to avoid guardianships and conservatorships, and find out about planning your estate, trusts and wills; all of which can be useful regardless of wealth.
   The instructor is a local attorney who specializes in estate planning and elder law. The class meets Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 1-4 p.m., and costs $39.
   "Enrich Your Photography Skills." Do you want to take better photographs? Discuss the basic aim and purpose of photographic communication.
   Get to know your camera more closely and explore the effects of its various features on the pictures you take. Also, discover the best way to care for and store your digital images and files. Make sure to bring your camera for this hands-on class.
   The class meets Mondays, Oct. 31 to Nov. 14, 6-8:30 p.m., and costs $69.
   "Making the Most of Your Social Security." Most Americans pay into Social Security for the majority of their lives. How much do you really know about the economic protection that Social Security is intended to provide and how do you make the most of the benefits of your Social Security?
   Find out in this free class, which meets Wednesdays, Oct. 26 10-11:30 a.m.
