The Gresham boys soccer team took target practice on the McNary goal Tuesday night and came away with a 5-1 win in the 6A play-in round.

The Gophers started the onslaught when Jorge Yanez gathered the ball near the sideline and beat three defenders on a quick run into the box before letting loose with a laser shot from 12 yards out that left the goalie with no chance.

Gresham extended to a 2-0 margin in the 29th minute when Jacob Young settled the ball outside the box and ripped a shot into the far corner from 25 yards out...
