Haack backs Witt
- South County Spotlight - Opinion
In the spirit of full disclosure, I must admit that I work for Brad Witt. What I am writing about happened years before he was a state representative.
I first met Brad when I was working at P and G Thriftway, he was the union rep and I was family and management. There is usually a contentious relationship between unions and management and I fully expected him to be difficult to work with. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Brad Witt was honest, helpful and willing to work with management and our employees to find solid solutions to the myriad of challenges that happen in supermarkets.
When my father, Pete, was becoming ill with Alzheimer's disease, Brad treated him with respect and kindness.
I cannot imagine a better candidate for CD1 than Brad Witt. His 33 years as a negotiator, experience as a working economist and success in the Legislature assures me he will do a fine job in Washington.
