   BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION
   NORTH UNIT IRRIGATION DISTRICT
    The District is accepting nominations for two positions on its Board of Directors the first is for Division Four (4), located from approximately Eureka Lane south to Iris Lane, now being held by Richard Macy. The term begins January 1, 2013 and is for three years. The second position is for Division Two (2), in the area starting on the Agency Plains at Fir Lane to Eureka Lane, south of Metolius, and west of South Adams Drive, now being held by Michael Kirsch, the term begins January 1, 2013 and is for two years. A map of the divisions can be viewed at the District office. To be eligible as a director a candidate must:
    Be 18 years of age or older.
    Be the owner of water right land situated within the boundaries of the District from their respective Division.
    Must submit a petition, signed by 10 landowners with North Unit Irrigation District water rights, to the District office before 5:00 pm on the 9th of October 2012. Petitions can be obtained from the District office.
    If only one petition is received per division, that petitioner will be certified as having been nominated and elected for that Division. The receipt of two or more petitions for a Division will require an official election to be held November 13, 2012.

    If you have any interest in the seized property described below, you must claim that interest or you will automatically lose that interest. If you do not file a claim for the property, the property may be forfeited even if you are not convicted of any crime.

   The Lake Chinook Fire and Rescue fire district Board of Directors will meet at the Lake Chinook Fire Station, located at 5055 SW Lake View Dr., on Friday, September 14th, 2012 at 3 p.m. for the purpose of conducting the regular business meeting. The meeting is open to the public and there will be time set aside for visitor input.
