PUBLIC NOTICE hereby is given that the period for redemption of real properties included in the 2010 delinquent tax lien foreclosure proceedings instituted by Jefferson County, Oregon on August 18, 2010, in the circuit court of the State of Oregon for Jefferson County, Case No: 10-CV-0074 and included in the Judgment entered therein on October 11, 2010 will expire on October 11, 2012.
    All properties ordered sold under the Judgment, unless redeemed on or before October 11, 2012 will be deeded to Jefferson County, Oregon immediately on expiration of the period of redemption, and every right and interest of any person in such properties will be forfeited to Jefferson County, Oregon.

    The District is accepting nominations for two positions on its Board of Directors the first is for Division Four (4), located from approximately Eureka Lane south to Iris Lane, now being held by Richard Macy. The term begins January 1, 2013 and is for three years. The second position is for Division Two (2), in the area starting on the Agency Plains at Fir Lane to Eureka Lane, south of Metolius, and west of South Adams Drive, now being held by Michael Kirsch, the term begins January 1, 2013 and is for two years. A map of the divisions can be viewed at the District office. To be eligible as a director a candidate must:
    Be 18 years of age or older.
    Be the owner of water right land situated within the boundaries of the District from their respective Division.
    Must submit a petition, signed by 10 landowners with North Unit Irrigation District water rights, to the District office before 5:00 pm on the 9th of October 2012. Petitions can be obtained from the District office.
    If only one petition is received per division, that petitioner will be certified as having been nominated and elected for that Division. The receipt of two or more petitions for a Division will require an official election to be held November 13, 2012.

    There will be a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Mountain View Hospital District at 470 NE A Street, Madras, Oregon on September 25, 2012. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in the Metolius Room. The Board will act on regular business, conduct the Critical Access Hospital Annual Review and hold an executive session pursuant to ORS 192.650(e)(j). This session will pertain to conduct deliberations with person designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions. To carry on negotiations under ORS chapter 293 with private persons or businesses regarding proposed acquisition, exchange or liquidation of public investments. Executive Session pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(i). The session will evaluate the employment-related performance of the Chief Executive Officer. The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities.     Jefferson County Buildings & Grounds Department is requesting proposals for janitorial services at five county buildings. Contractors may submit proposals for one, all, or any combination of buildings. Request for Proposals (RFP) documents will be available on or after September 19, 2012 at the Jefferson County Buildings & Grounds Department, 169 SE 7th Street, Madras, Oregon. Office hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. A pre-proposal meeting will be held in the Commission meeting room, 66 SE D Street, Madras, on Friday September 21, 2012 at 10:00 am. The proposal and contract requirements will be discussed in the meeting, and it is recommended that interested contractors attend. Proposals must be received at the Jefferson County Buildings & Grounds Department, 169 SE 7th Street, Madras, OR prior to 1:30 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2012.
