PUBLIC NOTICE hereby is given that the period for redemption of real properties included in the 2010 delinquent tax lien foreclosure proceedings instituted by Jefferson County, Oregon on August 18, 2010, in the circuit court of the State of Oregon for Jefferson County, Case No: 10-CV-0074 and included in the Judgment entered therein on October 11, 2010 will expire on October 11, 2012.
All properties ordered sold under the Judgment, unless redeemed on or before October 11, 2012 will be deeded to Jefferson County, Oregon immediately on expiration of the period of redemption, and every right and interest of any person in such properties will be forfeited to Jefferson County, Oregon.

CITY COUNCIL VACANCY
CITY OF MADRAS
The City of Madras is currently accepting "letters of interest" for a vacancy on the Madras City Council. A qualified candidate must be at least 18 years of age, a registered voter, and a resident of the City of Madras for a minimum of one year. This is a volunteer position and the hours involved can be long and demanding. The benefit of being on the City Council is the ability to make a difference in this community today and far into the future.
The individual that is selected to fill the position will be completing an unexpired term which will not expire until December 31, 2014.
Interested individuals are being asked to submit their "Letters of Interest" to Karen J. Coleman, City Recorder, at the Madras City Hall located at 71 S.E. "D" Street by no later than 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Please call (541) 475-2344 should you have any questions.

CITY OF MADRAS
A Public Hearing is scheduled before the City of Madras Planning Commission to take testimony on a proposed Conditional Use (File # CU-12-2). The applicants, Madras Gospel Mission/Freedom Christian Fellowship have requested approval for a woman's shelter. The subject properties are addressed 937 SE Kierra Place and 941 SE Kierra Place and located in Township 11, Range 13, and Section 12 CD as tax lots 13300 and 13400. The subject properties are located within the Single-Family Residential (R-1) Zoning District.
The approval criteria from the proposed Conditional Use, include the follow but not limited to: Sections 8-12.3 .1(B) 8-12.4.8 (Supplementary Provisions, and 8-12.6(1)(2) (Conditional Use, and Article 9 (Administrative Provisions) the Madras Zoning Ordinance (No. 723).

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Culver City Planning Commission will conduct two public hearings beginning at 6:00 p.m. on October 11, 2012, in the City Council Chambers of the Culver City Hall. The purpose of the first public hearing is to consider a Comprehensive Plan/Zoning Map amendment on behalf of Round Butte Seed Growers to redesignate a portion of their property from Commercial C-1 and Residential R-2 to Industrial M-1 to accommodate their existing operations. The property is located between Fifth and Sixth Streets in the City and is described as Tax Lots 700, 800, 5500, 5501, 5503, 5600, and 5700 on Jefferson County Assessor's Map 12S-13E-18DA. Copies of the application and related materials are available at City Hall.
The second public hearing concerns a minor amendment to the City's Zoning Ordinance to allow improvements to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant as an outright permitted use in the Industrial Zone (M-1).
