Chamber awards dinner planned

The banquet is shifting from its longtime location, Kah-Nee-Ta Lodge, to the Inn at Cross Keys Station in Madras. Black Bear Diner will be catering the buffet dinner.
The change in location moves the event to Madras, but also prompts limited seating. The event limit is 150, and the chamber asked those planning to attend to RSVP by calling them at 541-475-2350, or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots.    The theme for this year's banquet is "River Canyon Country." Awards that will be presented include: community champion, senior citizen, volunteer, public servant and business of the year.
The Madras Elks Lodge will be handling the bar service and the Alpha Omicron Sorority will be providing table service.
The social hour starts at 6 p.m. with the dinner at 7. For further details, or the RSVP, contact the chamber.
