   With an Alice in Wonderland theme, Madras Vision Source won the Best Overall award in the Madras-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce's Merchant Halloween Costume Contest.
   Awarded for the Best Decorations was the Department of Human Services, which had Disneyland costumes and decorations.
   The Scariest Costume winner was Kevin Guiney at Home Federal Bank for his black warlock outfit.
   Sheriff Jim Adkins' pirate costume won the Best Costume award at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
   Charitie Gamble at Mid Oregon Personnel, dressed as a "to do list," captured the Funniest Costume award.
   The Most Original Costume award went to Lupe Ramirez, at Madras Medical Group, who was dressed as a gift package, to go with their Christmas Wonderland theme.
   Awards for the contest were provided by Home Federal Bank, and Gary Gruner Chevrolet loaned the judges a car to drive around to view the 15 businesses entered in the contest.
