Metolius hosts Santa's Workshop, more

The city of Metolius has several holiday activities slated in December.
   Metolius' Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Metolius City Hall. There will be a moment of silence to remember loved ones, followed by caroling and refreshments.
   Everyone is invited to attend. Dress warmly, as part of the evening activities will be held outside.
   The Santa's Workshop children's craft is slated for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Metolius Train Depot.
   There will be new crafts to work on, and old favorites including the candy train and pine cone bird feeder.
   Santa is scheduled to make an appearance at 12:30 p.m., and parents are reminded to bring a camera. Nachos with chili and cheese will be served at 12 p.m.
   The 11th annual Christmas Bazaar at the Metolius Train Depot will be held Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
