Relief Nursery lands grant

The Juniper Junction Community Council is the recipient of a $20,000 grant, which will be used to support the Juniper Junction Relief Nursery.
   The grant came from three Oregon Community Foundation Funds: the Robert H. Noyes Jr. Fund, the Phillip Murthe Fund, and the Robert W. Chandler II fund.
   The mission of Juniper Junction Community Council is to advocate for the children and families of Jefferson County by providing guidance for planning, implementation and sustainability of specific projects that will lead to safer communities and enhances quality of life.
   OCF awards more than $80 million annually in grants and scholarships.
   The Oregon Community Foundation makes grants through an application process that involves local citizens in the review and evaluation of requests for funds.
