>Girls finish in third
The Madras boys swim team won six events to earn a first-place tie with Bend at the Madras Relays, held Saturday at the Madras Aquatic Center.
The boys team won seven events in the three-team event since Redmond or Ridgeview didn't field teams on the boys side.

Bend won the 200 medley relay on the boys' side.
On the girls' side, the Madras team picked up a win in the 400 freestyle relay and combined with the boys team to win the 500 mixed freestyle relay.
Summit won the girls team title with 96 points behind wins in the 200 medley, 4x100 individual medley and the 200 breaststroke.
Bend finished second with 89 points and won the 200 butterfly and 200 backstroke events with Madras sliding in third with 45 points.
Ridgeview placed fourth with 30 points in the school's first meet in history, and picked up a win in the 200 freestyle relay. Redmond placed fifth out of five teams with nine points.
