Dancing Beans Coffee expands with cafe
In South Y Complex
Dancing Beans Coffee has expanded to a second location with a cafe in the South Y Complex.
Owners John and Audrey Williams purchased the drive-through espresso shop (in the Les Schwab parking lot) in July 2011. "We wanted to expand and do breakfast and lunch items, too," John Williams said of the Internet cafe and coffee shop they refer to as Dancing Beans Southside Cafe.
"Everything is made from scratch -- homemade soups and sandwiches and daily specials," John said.
Fresh baked biscuits, breads and pastries are made next door at Nana's bakery. The adjacent businesses have a pass-through window to exchange pastries for their customers and coffee for her customers.
"We figured, why reinvent the wheel when it's already there," John said of their cooperative arrangement.
Dancing Beans Southside Cafe offers full breakfasts including waffles and breakfast burritos, and soup and sandwiches for lunch.
They have a full menu of espresso and coffee drinks, and offer pump pots of coffee and pastries for meetings and gatherings. They feature Longbottom coffees.
"We deliver breakfast, lunch and coffee," he said, noting that has been popular with local businesses. Orders can be called in at 541-460-5094.
Dancing Beans Southside Cafe is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 910 S.W. Highway 97, Suite 202, in the South Y Complex. The drive-through is open from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days a week. -- Susan Matheny
