> New officers of the Madras Kiwanis Club were installed on Dec 18, at Geno's Italian Grill in downtown Madras.
The new officers are: Mike Kirsch, president; Jessenia Quijano and Matthew Ellsbury, first and second vice presidents; Robert Jones, secretary; and Kyle Devine, treasurer.
Presiding over the installation was Division 78's Lt. Gov. Earl Schroeder from Sisters.
The Madras Kiwanis Club was first chartered in 1947, and has been active in community fundraisers and work projects for the past 65 years.
Two of the current Kiwanian's have over 30 years in service to the Madras community. They are Tom Kirsch and Mike Ahern. Both are past presidents of the Madras Club.
