This is the fifth year that Home Federal Bank has made hand-tied fleece blankets for children in foster care during Christmas.
The blankets are distributed at the foster children's Christmas party.
This year the staff, along with local Madras High School Interact Club members, cut and tied 30 blankets.
They were able to get donations from local service clubs to help purchase fleece. Cash donations came from Jefferson County Rotary, Madras Lady Elks, Mount Jefferson Odd Fellows Lodge and Soroptomists.
This year, foster children from Crook County also attended the Christmas party, and the Prineville branch of Home Federal Bank contributed another 30 blankets to ensure the kids from Crook County received a blanket as well.
