Update: Alleged robber identified in two East County cases

by:  This female suspect is being sought in connection with two armed robberies in Gresham and Troutdale.

Police have identified the woman who allegedly robbed a Gresham bar on Nov. 3 and a Troutdale deli in mid-October.

After further investigation, police said Denise Yvonne Dinette, 42, is responsible for both robberies. Anyone with information as to Dinette's whereabouts is encouraged to call the Gresham Police Department at 503-618-2719. Police said Dinette should be considered armed and dangerous.

The most recent robbery happened at 8 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, when a woman walked into Rounder's bar, 1155 N.E. Division St., Gresham, armed with a weapon and demanded money.

The first robbery happened around 11:20 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, when a woman walked into Dotty's Deli at 27054 S.E. Stark St., Troutdale, and ordered a soda. The clerk gave the woman a soda and walked back to the sink area. The woman followed the clerk, pointed a weapon and demanded money.

The woman stole an undisclosed amount of money in both incidents.
