Chamber calendar

In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, the Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce office will be closed Friday, Nov. 11. There will be no Connect with Success AM Meeting.

Fall Chamber Expo

The public is invited to meet and greet local chamber members from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at the St. Henry Catholic Church gymnasium, 346 N.W. First St., Gresham.

Business seminar

Learn about special banking services available to businesses at a seminar hosted by Damascus KeyBank from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at the bank, 19830 S.E. Highway 212.

The program will feature a short presentation by specialists in the fields of small business lending, equipment financing and credit criteria, followed by a question and answer session.

Restaurant to thank veterans

Applebee's is inviting veterans and active military members to enjoy a meal on the house, from 11 a.m. to midnight Friday, Nov. 11, at the Gresham restaurant, 489 N.W. Burnside Road.

The event is part of Applebee's Thank You program, an ongoing effort to collect one million messages of gratitude for active and retired military personnel from customers and employees.

Diners will need to present current military identification and can choose from a select menu for dine-in service only.

Holiday open house set

The holiday spirit will be in residence when the Red Store hosts an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at the store, 1196 S.E. 282nd Ave., Gresham.

In addition to serving complimentary wine and chocolates, the Red Store will be offering customers a 20-percent discount on furniture, accessories and gifts throughout the weekend.

Holiday hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
