BURGLARY

11/2/11 4:52 p.m. A new laptop was burglarized from a house on Second Street.

ACCIDENT

11/4/11 12:12 p.m. After being struck by another car while parked on State Street, a vehicle was ticketed for illegal parking.

THEFTS

11/1/11 7:36 a.m. A miscreant broke into a car on Third Street and stole a broken DVD player.

11/1/11 3:37 p.m. Easily entering through an unlocked door, a thief took a GPS, tote bag and sunglasses from a car on Third Street.

11/1/11 10:43 p.m. A gray Toyota on Fifth Street was broken into and insurance and registration documents were stolen.

11/3/11 12:27 p.m. Checks and cash valued at $2,000 were stolen from a salon on B Avenue.

11/3/11 1:16 p.m. A residence on Overlook Drive has been steadily robbed of items over the past year.

11/3/11 4:02 p.m. Two bicycles were taken two weeks apart during the summer, one from Lake Oswego High School and the other in the downtown area. The first was a 24-speed bike valued at $500, while the other was a 21-speed bike valued at $300.

11/4/11 12:06 p.m. A car on Overlook Drive was damaged and robbed overnight. Items stolen included an iTouch and backpack containing schoolwork and calculator. Two windows were broken in the robbery, causing $900 in damage.

11/4/11 12:52 p.m. Two bicycles valued at $1,500 were stolen from an apartment on Jefferson Parkway. Both had been locked to a post on ground level, but the lock was gone too.

11/5/11 3:52 a.m. Drunkenness was suspected when a car on Highway 217 was running red lights and wildly weaving in and out of traffic.

11/5/11 8:54 a.m. An unlocked car on Cherry Crest Drive was robbed of a briefcase, suit, coat, wallet, credit cards and money.

11/5/11 12:57 p.m. Miscellaneous items were taken from an unlocked Honda Passport parked on Glen Haven Road.

11/6/11 6:34 p.m. $200 in donations were taken from a woman at Albertsons on State Street. The suspect, dressed in dark clothes, may have gotten away in a brown-colored vehicle.

MISC.

11/1/11 7:21 a.m. A nondescript vehicle with a loud muffler is causing a certain amount of disturbance on Middlecrest Road.

11/1/11 8:19 a.m. There is constant juvenile partying, with underage drinking, at a residence on Fern Place despite the presence of a mother.

11/1/11 12:28 p.m. A woman in California is sending harassing text messages to a man on Ridgeway Road.

11/1/11 3:31 p.m. A person who lives on Jefferson Parkway has been bombarded with harassing text messages for the past hour.

11/2/11 2:22 a.m. A man was officially admonished for telephonic harassment, trespass and disorderly conduct against a resident on Crestfield Court.

11/2/11 11:07 a.m. A strange car with two men came upon a mother's two sons while they were walking down Hastings Court, flashing lights at them and following them through the neighborhood.

11/2/11 1:07 p.m. Overgrowth of a man's yard is starting to creep over the boundaries of his neighbor's property.

11/2/11 2:40 p.m. The wild driving of his ex-wife is starting to worry a man, especially when she drives her son to school. The woman has a suspended license and no auto insurance.

11/2/11 3:31 p.m. A woman suspects cleaning people of ripping off her valuable ring.

11/2/11 5 p.m. A house on Overlook Drive was egged on the window and front porch, causing $500 in damage.

11/3/11 7:41 a.m. A yellow lab on a leash left its owner high and dry at the dog park and was running in traffic on Stafford Road. A conscientious citizen transported the pooch to Lake Grove Vet.

11/3/11 9:18 a.m. A landlord may need help in evicting a soon-to-be former tenant.

11/3/11 9:44 a.m. A leaf blower valued at $500 fell off a landscaping truck going down Boones Ferry.

11/3/11 10:47 a.m. An unconscious woman woke up to find that her landlord, whom she shares the house with, had shaved her head. The woman claims the landlord is a wican and is trying to destroy her because she is a Christian.

11/3/11 12:17 p.m. Strange footsteps were heard on the back porch of a residence on Third Street. When one of the occupants investigated the sound, an extremely skinny young woman was observed running away.

11/3/11 12:58 p.m. An upset 15-year-old student at a youth facility threw a binder that conked her teacher on the head.

11/3/11 3:13 p.m. Two tires were slashed on a vehicle on Westridge Drive.

11/3/11 4:41 p.m. An 11-year-old son is receiving threatening messages.

11/3/11 5:03 p.m. A door-to-door solicitor went to a woman's home on Hampton Court and asked her to change her account to Century Link. When she called the company she was told they rarely send out solicitors.

11/3/11 6:45 p.m. Three subjects wearing Century Link logo jackets asked a man on Condeolea Drive for information on how many computers and televisions were in his home. When he called the company he was told they didn't have anyone working in the area.

11/3/11 8:39 p.m. An upset daughter reportedly kicked the family dog and threatened to kill her father.

11/3/11 9:47 p.m. Friends are pounding on the door of a man's apartment on Greenridge Drive and refusing to leave.

11/3/11 10:26 p.m. A runaway 12-year-old girl had been gone only 30 minutes when she was found and returned home.

11/4/11 12:14 a.m. A woman was followed by people in a small sedan who were wearing bandanas over their faces.

11/4/11 9:26 a.m. The mystery of a yellow lab found running in traffic was solved when it was found the dog had just been given away to a new owner.

11/4/11 10:54 a.m. Very loud drum music is upsetting residents of Rembrandt Lane.

11/4/11 4:40 p.m A good Samaritan helped out a poor soul by providing a ride to Sunset Max station and setting up lodging arrangements at the Holiday Inn at the Portland airport.

11/4/11 4:52 p.m. A homicidal client in Colorado sent a death threat to an employee at a business on Third Street.

11/4/11 5:42 p.m. Dictionaries were found torn up at a youth facility's school. A student already under suspicion for a similar act is the suspect.

11/4/11 6:08 p.m. A man came home to his residence on West Sunset Drive and found that his bed had been stolen.

11/5/11 11:21 a.m. A woman known to have her driver's license suspended was spotted watching a game at Lake Oswego High School and then driving away.

11/5/11 1:42 p.m. A dog bite incident at the dog park on Stafford Road escalated when the owner of the dog who did the biting angrily refused to exchange information with the owner of the victim dog.

11/5/11 4:17 p.m. While viewing Craigslist, a PCC student discovered a listing for her laptop, which had been stolen the previous day.

11/6/11 12:44 a.m. Two marijuana smokers were spotted on the deck of a house on Greenridge Drive.

11/6/11 10:06 a.m. A woman's house was robbed by aliens who got away in a space ship. Or so she says.

11/6/11 1:14 p.m. A strange driver wearing his red hair in a ponytail is repeatedly darting out in front of vehicles on Boones Ferry and Country Club roads.

FRAUD

11/1/11 5:47 p.m. A woman on Hampton Court is receiving email about suspicious activity on her Wells Fargo account. This aroused her suspicion since she does not have a Wells Fargo account.

11/3/11 4:39 p.m. An elderly man was nearly scammed while he was out grocery shopping. He was wanting to wire $150, and in return he was expecting to receive more than $1 million.
