3A VOLLEYBALL - Corbett sweeps Blanchet Catholic in season's final match

EUGENE - After fighting through a pair of five-set marathons on Friday's opening day at state, the Corbett volleyball team made quick work of their Saturday's session with a three-set sweep over Blanchet Catholic in the 3A third-place match.

The match looked characteristic of many of Corbett's this season - quick attack, quick points, quick victory.

The Cardinals closed out the win with a hard-fought win in game 3.

Corbett jumped out to a 7-0 lead and maintained a five-point margin after a kill by Corbett's Elizabeth Wynne....
