Police seek three suspects, truck in Corbett-area burglaries

Multnomah County sheriff's deputies are searching for three people who may be involved in a series of thefts and burglaries throughout the Corbett and Springdale communities within the past week.

Multnomah County Sheriff's Deputy Joe Graziano said barns on Evans Road and Mannthey Road were burglarized Wednesday, Nov. 16. Other recent thefts and burglaries have been reported on Larch Mountain Road and on Woodard and Neilson roads in Springdale, he said, with evidence that more than one person is involved.

Graziano said locked gates and long driveways have not deterred the suspects.

A citizen reported seeing a suspicious pickup with three occupants possibly casing houses in the area of Brower and Haines roads in Corbett around 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15.

The truck's three occupants were described as a white male, a white female and a male, either black or Hispanic. They appeared to be in their 20s.

The truck was a gray, four-door Chevrolet, possibly a mid-2000s model and slightly larger than a mid-sized truck. The truck did not have a front license plate.

Anyone who sees the truck and is able to safely write down the license plate is asked to call the non-emergency number at 503-823-3333 and to leave a message for Graziano at 503-251-2502 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Graziano said multiple groups of thieves may be operating in the area. He said residents should make sure they secure their valuables and report suspicious vehicles or people to the police.
