Thanksgiving Walk at Oxbow - 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Oxbow Regional Park, 3010 S.E. Oxbow Parkway. Take time to enjoy and celebrate the simple gifts of nature at Oxbow Regional Park with Metro naturalist Dan Daly, Terry Kem from Deerdance School and others who will host a walk along the Sandy River and a 'Thanksgiving Address' around the campfire. Bring a sack lunch and a travel mug for hot beverages. Free with park entry fee of $5 per vehicle and suitable for families. Meet at the boat ramp at 10:15 a.m. Visit Oregonmetro.gov to register.

Free Math Presentation - 3:15 to 4:30 p.m., Mt. Hood Community College, Room 2606, 26000 S.E. Stark St. Each year, the college's math department schedules a series to show some of the interesting and engaging topics of mathematics that aren't included in the normal curriculum. In this presentation, instructors will discuss forest fires. Free and open to the public; college visitors must purchase a parking permit for $3.
