City Christmas tree lights up
The city of Gresham started stringing 2,400 LED lights on the Christmas tree at the Center for the Arts Plaza at 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in preparation for the annual tree lighting during the Spirit of Christmas celebration Saturday, Dec. 3.
The 60-foot Ponderosa pine on the Center for the Arts Plaza, located at Second Street and Hood Avenue, will be lit for the first time at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. The tree lighting culminates the daylong Sprit of Christmas celebration, which runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
