Big plays doom Scots
6A FOOTBALL - Oregon City puts up three straight TDs in the second half

The host Pioneers had a knack for hitting the big play when it mattered most during their 28-18 win over David Douglas in the second round of the OSAA 6A football playoffs Friday night.
Oregon City scored on its opening drive of each half to build a 14-6 lead, then fed the ball to bruising tailback Louis Wolf to finish the game. He hurdled over a fallen defender on a 14-yard pick up to move the chains, then lowered a shoulder to knock a pair of Scots back on a 15-yard gain a few plays later.
The Scots defense was on its heels with Oregon City driving deep into their end of the field, but Douglas lineman Marcel Frazier appeared to get a big stop when he went low and stopped the fullback behind the line of scrimmage on 3rd-and-1.
The Pioneers led the third quarter run out, giving their coaches time to consider their options....
