Lions to host free spaghetti feed, food drive

The Troutdale Lions Club is hosting a free spaghetti feast and food drive Saturday, Nov. 26, in the Sam Cox Building at Glenn Otto Park, 1102 E. Historic Columbia River Highway, Troutdale.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The menu consists of spaghetti with (optional) meatballs, garlic bread, salad and dessert, with milk, water and juices. The evening also will include live entertainment and door prizes.

Guests are encouraged to bring canned and non-perishable food items to support needy local students and their families. In lieu of canned and non-perishable items, cash donations will also be accepted for the food drive.

Guests are also encouraged to donate used eyeglasses and hearing aids, as one of the Troutdale Lions' community projects is focused on providing assistance for people with sight and hearing issues.
